This
very long garden leading on to a Broad presented the challenge of creating
privacy in the garden whilst retaining the view of the broad from the
house.
A 1.5 acre
plot in the Kent countryside. This design creates some intimate spaces
within the garden, whilst maintaining the free and open feeling of the
site. A traditional cottage garden surrounds the barn, while further
afield small orchards with wildflower understoreys provide pockets of
privacy.
