Miles
Garden Design is run by husband and wife, Jamie Miles BSc. (Hons),
Dip. PSGD and Jane Miles BSc. (Hons), MRes.
Jamie
is a knowledgeable garden designer, with an honours degree in Pure
and Applied Ecology from the University of Sheffield and a diploma
in Garden Design from the Pickard
School of Garden Design.
To
complement his design skills and horticultural knowledge, Jamie has
a wealth of practical gardening experience, having run a successful
gardening business for over 10 years.
Jamie
was one of the designers behind the Ember Inns Old and New Pub Garden
at Chelsea 2003
in the Chic Gardens section, which won them an RHS Silver-Gilt Medal.
Jane
has a Masters degree in Environmental Science and a Royal Horticultural
Society Certificate in Horticulture. She looks after the technical
and administration side of the business and is increasingly involved
in the landscaping side of things. She also creates planting plans
and postal designs.
